Palak (Spinach) Paneer

Serves 4
Cooking Method
  • Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly and boil it for 6 to 7 minute. OR
  • Add the frozen spinach in boiling water and boil it for 10 minutes
  • Leave it to cool and then puree it in food processor.
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add ginger and then garlic till light brown
  • Add chopped onion and chopped green chilli.
  • Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat till golden brown.
  • Add Salt, Coriander powder and Garam masala, cook for 1 minute
  • Add pureed spinach and cornmeal flour, mix well.
  • In another pan add 1 tsp of oil and add the diced Paneer to it.
  • Stir it till Paneer is golden brown.
  • Add the Paneer dices to the Palak (spinach), cook it for 10 minutes

Finely grated ginger
Medium onion finely chopped

tsp Finely grated garlic
tsp Cornmeal flour
Green Chilli Chopped
Salt to taste
