Sweet and Sour Chilli Chicken

Serves 4



Cooking Method
  • Mix all ingredients of marinade and marinate chicken in it for 2
    hours or overnight (optional).
  • Heat oil in a pan, add grated ginger and cook for 30 seconds
  • Add marinated chicken and cook on high heat for 5 minutes, keep
    stirring continuously.
  • Add the sweet and sour chilli sauce, tomato puree and red chilli
    powder.
  • Turn the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook it for 10 minutes or
    till chicken is tender, checking occasionally to make sure chicken
    doesn’t stick to pan.
  • Remove from heat and leave it to rest for 10 minutes, keep the pan
    covered.

Red Kashmiri chilli powder
